IRVINE’S Zimbabwe continues to make the deliberate effort of delighting the customer, by stepping up quality standards in the egg grading and packing plant.

Our Eggcellent grading facility was in July 2012 deemed compliant with the ISO22000 Standard, an internationally recognized food safety standard, in the process, earning the reputation of being the first ISO 22000 certified Egg Grading Facility in Zimbabwe.
SABS (The South African Bureau of Standards), who audited and approved the certification, is mandated by the South African law to provide recognition for compliance with various quality standards.
It is an internationally recognised South African body for the provision of certification services. Certification by this organization is therefore prestigious and undoubted internationally. Our eggs have for a long time been of a high standard of quality, and certification to ISO 22000 endorses them as being of the highest international standard and quality that today’s customers demand. It is also an affirmation of Irvines Zimbabwe’s goal to be a world class.
Irvines’s Zimbabwe is one of the largest egg processing plants in Zimbabwe, with a capacity to process four million eggs per week, providing a cheap source of protein for Zimbabweans. Some 95% of the table eggs produced are sold and consumed within the boundaries of Zimbabwe.
The quality and safety of our table eggs is ensured with the backward integration of our own layer farms and feed mill. All facilities which are HACCP compliant, with the strictest bio-security procedures maintained.
Our eggs have earned the confidence of valued customers in Zimbabwe and our Customers in Southern Africa. Irvines Zimbabwe has always got an ear to the customer on product improvement, and this is what has taken us this far.
