The video album was launched at Celebration Centre on Wednesday.

The audio version of Yahweh was launched earlier this year and the album did fairly well on local charts.

“The popularity of this album made me realise that there was a need to select songs from the CD and compile a DVD,” said Deuschle.

She said together with her team, they had recently toured Malaysia and completely sold out both the CD and copies of the newly released DVD.

Some of the enjoyable songs on the DVD include This Is, Bless the Lord, Trust in You, Rudo RwaMwari and the widely popular tracks Yahweh and Let’s Go.

During the same event, Deuschle announced that this year would mark the return of a musical titled Christmas Foretold — In Search of a King.

The Christmas production was last performed in 1995.

“The production is an interesting piece, featuring an old woman, a rich king and young shepherd. They all search for Jesus and each character will relate to various people in the audience since each individual has something they are deeply searching for,” she said.

Deuschle said the musical had been put on hold for such a long time due to her commitment to other important church activities like building and touring different countries.

Christmas Foretold will have a cast of over 200 people, including international actors from as young as 18 months to elders in their 70s.

“The production is about bringing God’s love with togetherness through Christmas. It fuses elements of classical and African music to relate to everyone.”

Celebration Ministries founder and senior pastor, Tom Deuschle said the Christmas production was a way of celebrating the arts in Zimbabwe and was also a sign of growth.

He said its main purpose was to bring as many Zimbabweans as possible in one place and remind them about a time of giving, especially to the less privileged that would also be present at the event.
