After a goalless first half, substitute Jabulani Shongwe thrust Bafana Bafana ahead three minutes into second half with a powerful shot outside the box.

Hlopo Kekana doubled the lead with a close range in the 64th minute.

Shongwe was adjudged to have handled inside the box eight minutes later to allow Willy Stephanus to draw one back for Namibia from the penalty spot but after a retake. Bafana Bafana will now face the winner of today’s quarter- final match between Zambia and Mozambique.
