The seven-day soccer coaching clinic, which is open to Level One soccer coaches, will be contacted by Zifa technical director Nelson Matongorere.

MSCA coordinator Godfrey Mukanganwa said they were expecting many participants for the clinic.

“We are expecting not less than 30 coaches to take part and so far we have 15 coaches who have confirmed their participation. Those willing to participate will have to pay US$100 participation and material fee,” he said.

“The clinic will be open to everyone interested but one has to be a holder of a Level One Coaching certificate. We want to have more qualified coaches in Zimbabwe,” he said.

Matongorere was appointed a Fifa instructor of coaching in 2009 after he successfully completed the Futuro Level Three course in Swaziland in 2008.

He was among the other 12 football instructors from other Sadc countries that also took part in that particular course and were recommended to the same status by Fifa.
