In February Zoey thanked Magaya for converting Bev and said; “I thank Magaya for a job well done if indeed she has repented. She needed saving because some of the things that she did were un-Godly.”

But in our last edition of The Standardlife&style, Bev threatened to return to the dance floor after being assaulted by a security guard at Magaya’s residence.

Last week Zoey came out guns blazing saying that she had warned Magaya of the kind of person he was dealing with.

“I warned Magaya that Bev would use the microphone the way she used a bottle in the bars,” she said in reference to Bev’s infamous bottle act where she would seem to insert beer bottles into her private parts on stage.

“Look now she is being involved in fights, the same way she would get violent in bars. This is not about God and that is the truth.” Contacted for comment, Bev refused to comment referring all questions to Oscar Pambuka, the PHD spokesperson.

Pambuka said Bev was still part of the church and Zoey’s assertions should not be taken seriously.

“Bev and a number of new converts go through a lot of counselling and when I spoke to her she said it was a hiccups. It is a process for one to repent,” he said.

“I have not interacted with Zoey so there is nothing much I can say about her.”
