THE physical box office for the John Legend tickets which was located at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) opened on Wednesday last week and closed at 5pm on Friday evening.

The promoters announced that they were pleased with the early response to ticket purchases with the online reservations being a resounding success and very well-received by well over 1 000 fans that made use of the website.

“Online reservations and early box office accounted for almost all of the entry level tickets, which are now sold out. All remaining tickets have been returned to the online reservation platform, available to everybody at www.daviesevents.com/live,” the promoters said in a statement.

Audiences were advised to go online as soon as possible to reserve their tickets and ensure they get to the box office early.

“The demand for the remaining tickets is steady, however the overwhelming request from customers in the remaining ticket categories has been to bring the box office and ticket collections to a more convenient location,” the promoters said.

The box office will reopen for ticket collections next weekend and it will be located at Ster-Kinecor Sam Levy’s and will be open from Friday July 11 from 12 noon to 8pm and Saturday July 12 from 12 noon to 8pm.

Tickets were still available in the US$100, US$125 and US$150 categories.

“Whilst the John Legend show is scheduled for November which seems a long way off, there certainly will not be any tickets available on the day or at the gate,” the statement reads.

The John Legend Concert will be a distinguished evening with the venue being fully seated and numbered. —By Our Staff
