Zimbabwe international defender Carlington Nyadombo’s handlers Prosport International have said they will this month start looking for a new club for the centre back.

Nyadombo will not be renewing his AmaZulu contract which expires at the end of June.
The 29-year-old’s relationship with the Durban club is now irreconcilable after he was suspended indefinitely in February for “dishonesty”.
Media in South Africa and here could however not establish what act of dishonesty Nyadombo is being accused of and his handlers were not at liberty to reveal more on the alleged offence.
Prosport International chief executive officer Mike Makaab said the defender was not extending his stay at Usuthu but would be seeking a move elsewhere.
“He is not going to renew his contract with AmaZulu,” said Makaab.
“We are looking at other opportunities for him but we have not talked to any club as yet. We will start approaching various clubs in mid-May. At the moment it is too early to tell where he could go but we will contact a number of clubs both here in South Africa and elsewhere. No club has approached us so far but we are also open to anyone with interest in him.

“We are confident and he is also positive that he will start playing at the beginning of next season.”
Turning 30 this Christmas, it could be difficult for the defender to secure a contract with an overseas club.
“We are always looking at the best possible avenues to help him. He is 29-years-old and we have to be realistic about that. Anything is possible though. All we are doing right now is offer him the best advice we can,” Makaab said.
With the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers set to begin in June, the suspension has deprived Nyadombo of game time and thrown in doubt his chances of being drafted into the Warriors squad.
He was expected to partner Partson Jaure at central defence. In case Warriors coach Kalisto Pasuwa opts against the former Usuthu skipper, Dynamos utility defender Augustine Mbara is likely to step in.
Nyadombo is still on AmaZulu’s payroll waiting for his contract to expire, but has already stopped training with them.
“Carlington has a special training programme he is doing on his own,” said Makaab.
“He is not bitter about anything that happened. Why would he be? We understand the situation and himself as a professional footballer also understands that these things do happen as part of football. It was just the club’s choice to suspend him and we had to respect them.”
Nyadombo was last year appointed Warriors captain by former national team coach Ian Gorowa but never skippered the team due to injury.
