Sensational South African rapper Cassper Nyovest and popular comedian Tol A$$ Mo will headline the fifth edition of Shoko Festival in September.

The festival, one of the leading urban culture events will be held from September 24 to 26 under the theme Hear Your City. Harare Museum and Chitungwiza will host the event.
“Apart from Cassper Nyovest and Tol A$$ Mo other headline acts include leading British rapper Black Twang, UK poet Deana Rodgers and as well as Zimbabwean stars Junior Brown, Soul Jah Love and Trae Yung,” said Shoko Festival organisers in a statement.
Cassper Nyovest is best known for his 2013 hit Gusheshe and Doc Shebeleza which was a hit in 2014. He is a huge sensation on the African continent having been rated number 1 on The Hottest MC in Africa List by MTV Base.
“Nyovest will definitely give a sizzling performance for his Zimbabwean fans at Shoko. Comedian Tol A$$ Mo is no stranger to Zimbabwean audience having held his own show on the Vuzu channel and having been a main feature on the popular Master Chef TV programme. Tol A$$ Mo has risen to be one of South Africa’s most popular comedians in a short space of time”.
Over the years Shoko Festival has pioneered in featuring leading international urban acts such as Tumi & the Volume, Tony Rebel, John Vlismas, Akala, Symbiz Sound, KhuliChana, Hip-Hop Pantsula and Rodney P.
The festival is organised by Magamba Network in partnership with the Embassy of Sweden, Danida and Culture Fund Zimbabwe.
