The 80-minute drama was produced by Zimbabwean film actor and producer based in South Africa, Mthulisi Moyo. It is an enthralling drama which was shot in Harare (Zimbabwe) and Soweto (South Africa).

“We have already put into the market 300 copies of DVDs. At the moment the sales are moderate and we expect them to increase in due course,” said Gramma Records artist and repertoire manager Carlton Nyamabande.

Speaking from his South African base, Moyo said the involvement of Kapfupi and Gwala in the production was meant to unite Zimbabwean and South African artistes.

“My aim is to see fellow artistes in Zimbabwe and South Africa work together and share ideas. You will find out that in the drama there are times when Kapfupi speaks in Zulu while Gwala speaks in Shona,” Moyo said.

Moyo who has been in the arts industry for the past 10 years features in the drama as Mahlalela while Gwala plays the part of a pastor. Kapfupi is Gwala’s friend.

Gramma Records believes the drama will fare well on the market despite economic challenges and piracy.

“We hope the DVD will do very well despite the challenges people are going through. In terms of piracy, I think people will buy this DVD from Gramma Records because it is of high quality,” Nyamabande added.
