Zimbabweans going to learn that when Zanu PF speaks they speak with a forked tongue. Mugabe speaks about national healing whilst Jabulani Sibanda runs amok. Leaders, put your money where your mouth is and arrest and charge him. — Justice.

ZIMBABWE development after 1980 was  for only 5 or 6 years. Gukurahundi made Matabeleland miss out. If tribalism and regionalism were not at play after Unity Accord, there could have been a rapid biased, development of the region to catch up with the rest of the country. But true to Zanu PF style, even an apology for the madness is still to be debated. Maybe devolution could help? —Tsveruka, Murambinda.

MUCHADEYI Masunda says he won’t cut staff salaries because he wants to retain skills. My question is, how much sense does it make to spend all your money retaining “skills” that are then idle because there is no more money for service provision? In any case, no other country in the world pays that much for such “skills”, so where will they leave for? Mars? To Masunda I say “shame on you”! We had such high hopes. You talked of “giving back” because you benefited so much from the country. Seems like you are still benefiting — Servant Leadership Advocate.

ECONET’s 3G service is daylight robbery. It is so difficult to connect and very slow. They have been “upgrading” it forever and it looks like they are better at advertising than delivery. — Salulu, Harare.

WHY should ambassadors and those who continue to help our people stand by and be abused by a president and political party that abuses its people and steals elections. Give the foreign ministry to the MDC where it belongs. Mugabe must step down. We are incensed and disgusted. — Justice

I am appealing to organisations, NGOs, government, churches to assist me with a scholarship/grant or loan. I have 7 O’levels and 9 points. Those willing to assist can get in touch on 0713156247.— FN, Bulawayo.

IF civil servants are now tired of earning peanuts then they know what to do in the next election. There are so many of them and their vote is important. If we count them from armed forces, teachers, health workers, they are a quarter of the voting population. If they don’t want to do anything about it then they should shut up and not tell us about their US$100 salaries. Right now about 10% is quite happy with the status quo.— ANO
