HOT-PROPERTY Farayi Vimisayi says he is following the fortune that comes with playing big league football and wants Hwange to release him to Dynamos. The nippy wide midfielder is at the centre of a wrangle between Hwange and DeMbare.

The player has already shown the football world that his heart is with the Glamour Boys by playing for the club, in the recent Africa Safari Challenge tournament. He is currently training with them.

In an interview at his Kwekwe home at the weekend Vimisayi said he did not want to miss a life-changing opportunity.

“I have seen lives of many football players changing due to participation in the Champions League,” Vimisayi said.

“I think it’s my time to be seen by other clubs out there. I am trying to do what I believe can be of great importance to my life.

“I just want (Hwange) to give me the chance to showcase my talent in a much competitive tournament and see where I will end.”

Vimisayi is following the route taken by several Kwekwe players who horned their skills at Lancashire Steel.
“I have seen some of my colleagues at the now defunct Lancashire Steel living a pleasant life after playing in the Champions’ League.

“I really emulate Sam Mutenheri, Dick Moyana, (Justice) Majabvi and (Brighton) Tuwaya”.

Asked whether he is going to make his way back to Hwange if the deal does not materialise, Vimisayi said: “I will have no option if they keep on refusing because this might end up disrupting my football career, but I hope they understand my position because I have a family to look after. This means that I cannot afford to spend a season without kicking the ball”.

Vimisayi said he was grateful to the Premier Soccer League for giving Dynamos a chance to negotiate with Hwange and hopes the two parties will reach an agreement before the transfer window closes.

“I am really dying to wear the blue and white jersey this season and play alongside my former team-mates Tuwaya and my best friend George Magariro,” Vimisayi said.

The 2009 Soccer of the Year finalist said it has always been his dream to play for DeMbare.
Vimisayi said he had always been open about his desire to move to Dynamos and communicated this to Hwange.
