Bright Daisies Christian Institute in Chitungwiza has expanded its fleet with the purchase of four new buses, a development the institution says will significantly enhance its service delivery and reinforce its mission to offer high-quality education from ECD to A-Level.
Principal Daisy Mukariri described the acquisition as a breakthrough achievement and a testament to determination, faith and consistency in pursuing the school’s vision.
“I am overwhelmed by this breakthrough. All I can say is persistence pays,” she said.
“Running a school is never easy and, being a woman, I see this as a milestone.
“I want to encourage all women in business never to give up.
“When you go deeper in prayer and intimacy with God, all things are possible.
“This is a dream come true and a prayer answered.”
Mukariri noted that the institute’s culture of giving — particularly towards orphaned and underprivileged learners — has played a meaningful role in unlocking new opportunities.

“We have invested a lot in supporting our orphaned students and the underprivileged, and I believe this has led to the opening of this door,” she added.
She expressed gratitude to Ecobank for providing financial support, and to Vordim Bus Company for facilitating the delivery of what she described as a “miracle.”
Mukariri encouraged other school heads to take advantage of similar opportunities to uplift the education sector nationwide.
“I encourage school heads to take up this opportunity that will eventually lift the educational standards in the entire nation,” she said.
“Every school needs a beautiful and reliable bus which becomes the pride of every student.”
The new buses, which include one 67 seater, two 72 seater and one 77 seater, are expected to significantly improve student transportation and strengthen the school’s operational efficiency.
Mukariri said the development aligns with the institute’s growing reputation for academic excellence.
“We have made strides in ensuring a 100% pass rate for the past four years, and we are happy to be playing a part in the educational sector,” she said.
The acquisition of the fleet positions Bright Daisies Christian Institute among the few private schools in Chitungwiza with modern transportation infrastructure, signalling its continued growth and commitment to delivering holistic, quality education.
