The struggle continues

I ENJOYED reading Paul Themba Nyathi’s response to Wilbert Mukori’s criticism of the MDC (Independent, June 20). I even had an opportunity to read Mukori’s further reply to Nyathi’s response.

Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif”>I think Nyathi should be aware that there are people like Mukori who are privileged to be enjoying the comfort of a democratic country. These people give ideal prescriptions to our solutions. Ideal and very text book-like.

I am one of those who were not able to exercise our right to vote and to talk of a sit-in at polling stations is not only a show of ignorance but the worst thing that you can ever think of.

To think that Robert Mugabe was not going to send soldiers to beat up people is wishful thinking at best and disastrous at worst.

Just a question: For how long has Mukori been in the UK? He seems to be missing a lot of things which are happening on the ground back home. He also seems to be a well-read someone busy developing a thesis.

With the “confused and confusing” MDC, we will surely find our way. Keep on criticising and we take no heed of your words.

Please do not distract our attention. Do the best you can while in the UK but for us the struggle continues with or without your criticism.

Takavada Mhazo,
