Badza back in Caps colours but still eyes SA move

WARRIORS striker Brian Badza will be back in Caps United colours this Sunday, but says his return has not closed the door on his intended move to South Africa.
The speedy winger, clubless for the past three months after cutting short his stint in Belgium, will

feature for Caps against Inter Stars of Burundi in a African Champions League preliminary round second leg clash at the National Sports Stadium.
Speaking soon after the team’s training session yesterday, Badza said his move to South Africa was still in progress and that his involvement with Caps was only meant to keep him fit.
“The door is not  closed on me,” he said. “I am still a part of Caps because I want to keep fit as I sort out my deal, possibly in South Africa,” Badza said.
Badza, who last year walked out on Belgian side Germinal Beerschot barely four months into his two-year contract, expressed confidence that Caps will progress to the next round despite problems that have beset the club. “We will sail through,” he said.
Caps travelled to Burundi with only
13 team after they bungled the
registration of the players for the Champions League.
On Sunday the Harare giants will welcome back problem child Norman Togara, who refused to travel to Bujumbura over unpaid monies. Warriors defender Method Mwanjali will be another new face in the Caps side, while Martin Goremasandu could also make his debut.
However, it was still unclear whether Caps will field the Malawian duo of defender George Martins and striker Gift Makoloi following a complaint lodged by the Malawian Football Federation that the players had not been cleared.
Inter Stars are expected to arrive in the country this afternoon. — Own Corresponednet.
