HAVING just returned from Zimbabwe after leaving my son who is in boarding school in Marondera I am distressed to read that all private schools have been closed due to differences of opinion on what fees should be charged.
If I was Education minister Aenias Chigwedere I would have set up an arbitration committee which would review the budgets of the schools and proposed fees to see whether the increases are justified.
The rogue state’s approach is to inconvenience the school children. On the Zimbabwe minister’s scale of idiocy this must register nine out of 10.
As an aside, I am challenging other readers to rank ministers such as Jonathan Moyo, Joseph Made, Patrick Chinamasa etc on the scale of idiocy.
