HIS BRA!: A bra made especially for men is taking Japan by storm.Mail order company Wishroom started selling the unusual underwear last year.  Unsure of its reception, at first they only produced 160 bras as the start. These sold out immediately, prompting the company to order 5 000 more.Wishroom’s bras are available in a choice of white, pink and black and retail for around £20. SUNNY DEAL: Sun-seekers whose holidays are spoiled by bad weather could be reimbursed after French travel agencies launched insurance cover for unwanted interruptions to the sunshine.The insurance policy, launched by holiday groups Pierre et Vacances and FranceLoc, will allow holiday-makers to claim back part of the cost of their trip if they suffer at least four days of rain in any one week.Rain-spoilt holidays can now be worth up to US$556 and holidaymakers would be informed  if they were liable for compensation. CAT WOMAN: A woman accused of keeping 150 cats in her New Jersey mansion has been ordered to pay more than US$35 000 in fines and restitution. Wanda Oughton pleaded guilty to two counts of animal cruelty for failing to provide adequate shelter. The judge in Chester Township Municipal Court also told the 62-year-old she’s not allowed to own more than six cats over the next three years.Authorities in March found the cats living in urine-and-faeces-covered rooms in Oughton’s home, once valued at US$1 million. —— SFgate.

OUCH!:  A former soldier pulled his own teeth out with a pair of pliers because he could not find a dentist to take on NHS patients. Iraq War veteran Ian Boynton could not afford to go for private treatment so instead took the drastic action to remove 13 of his teeth that were giving him severe pain.The 42-year-old, from Beverley, East Yorkshire, had not had his teeth looked at since seeing the army dentist in 2003. He had not been registered with a dentist of his own since 2001. —— Webzee. MOTOR SHOWER: A Chinese trucker has been fined for having a shower while driving his lorry on a motorway.  Police patrol car spotted water leaking from the driver’s cab as it sped along the Jinyi expressway, reports Changjiang Business Daily.The police officers were shocked to see the driver was wet through and had been enjoying a shower via a sprinkler kettle system rigged up above his head.His wife, who was sitting in the passenger’s seat, had been holding up a sheet of plastic to protect the instruments from the water. – Ananova.
