Govt must own up to its misdeeds

HIDING the truth will never work as  problems, especially the Gukurahundi massacres, will continue to haunt generations.

It would be wise for the current leadership to acknowledge these misdeeds and pay reparation where it is deserved. A good example is the Truth and Reconciliation Commission that took place in South Africa. The church should also play a leading role because in Christianity there is repentance before forgiveness. This issue has dragged on for too long, why leave it unsolved for the next generation?
