Ndlovu surrendered his passport as part of his bail conditions following his arrest on April 19 together with Roman Catholic priest Marko Mnkandla over the Gukurahundi disturbances.
The charges arose after the duo attended a memorial service for victims and survivors of the Gukurahundi massacres in Lupane without police clearance. They were also ord-ered to pay US$500 bail.
Ndlovu’s lawyer Matshobana Ncube confirmed the release of the passport but said they would be challenging some of the conditions imposed on the use of the travel document.
The minister is supposed to surrender the passport on his return. Ndlovu and Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga are the two MDC negotiators while MDC-T is represented by Tendai Biti and Elton Mangoma.
Zanu PF has Patrick Chinamasa and Nicholas Goche.
Negotiators from Za-nu PF and the two MDC formations will meet in South Africa ahead of the South African Development Community emergency summit on May 20 in Namibia.
