DeMbare set to end bad spell

By Brian NkiwaneTROUBLED Harare football giants Dynamos will have a different approach in today’s league match against police side Black mambas after registering three defeats in one week.

The Glamour Boys, seeking a change of fortune, lost 1-0 to Monomotapa last week in a league match at Rufaro before going down to Mighty Bulls in the semi-finals of the Independence Trophy in the capital. DeMbare went on to lose to Hwange in the third and fourth position play-off of the Uhuru Trophy at White City in Bulawayo on Wednesday.

Dynamos head coach, Callisto Pasuwa, is set to unleash his strongest side against Warumwa Warumwa as they seek to regain lost pride in a bid to defend their title. The good news for the Pasuwa-led side is that on-fire hitman Takesure Chinyama is back from injury and was on target on Wednesday in Bulawayo.

The Glamour Boys have been boosted by the Savannah Tobacco initiative which will see their former sponsors ferrying their supporters to the match venue free of charge.Pasuwa could not be drawn to comment on the upcoming match.

Mambas mentor, John Toto Ncube could not be intimidated, as they share the same number of points with DeMbare.  Both teams have won once and have a total of three points each, but Mambas have lost twice while DeMbare, who lost once, have a game in hand.

The Bossolona roadshow will invade the diamond mining town of Mutare, as the Bulawayo giants carry their 100% league performance to Sakubva, where they will face Premiership returnees Buffaloes.

The army side surprised Mambas in their own backyard in Harare last week. But they have to be ready for Highlanders who have been playing well, winning all their opening matches and scoring the highest number of goals so far.

In Gweru, newcomers Hardbody welcome Hwange who are in no-nonsense mood showing no respect to a number of the so-called big clubs in the league.Quelaton, who have been finding the going tough in the league, will also look forward to registering their first league win at home to Motor Action at White City Stadium. The Bulawayo side has lost all of their opening matches.
