In a pre-season where Bosso have lost all their high profile matches, knives are out for Kaindu from part of the executive, backed by the club legends.
Sources at the Bulawayo giants told Standardsport that there is a plot to show Kaindu the exit door if he does not garner maximum points in the first three matches of the league.
According to the sources, the scheme to oust Kaindu is already at an advanced stage following the appointment of Willard Khumalo as welfare manager.
It is said Khumalo, whose appointment was greatly influenced by former players, does not see eye-to-eye with Kaindu.
The Zambian coach is said to have lost control over players due to constant interference i by those pushing for his ouster.
Khumalo, who is touted as a potential replacement is a qualified coach, but Rahman Gumbo is the most preferred by club legends who wield some power at the club.
Club secretary, Andrew Tapela dismissed the rumours before referring all questions to chairman Peter Dube, who was not reachable last night.

“I am not aware of any divisions in the executive or even the team itself. As far as I am concerned, all is well at Highlanders.
“Maybe the chairman knows better,” said Tapela.
But sources said the loss to South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns in a friendly match and back-to-back defeats to rivals Dynamos in the Bob89 Super Cup were being used to push for Kaindu’s exit.
Club insiders said some executive members did not approve of Kaindu’s appointment as coach last year although he managed to steer the team to a second-place finish.
“Kaindu is literally sitting in the departure lounge at the club. His future is not certain because some people in the executive do not want him. They are the same people who did not want him appointed in the first place. Now they have something to use to get him fired. The first three games of the season are [the] most crucial for Kaindu and if he fails to collect maximum points, he is going,” said a source.
