The 17-year-old, who is a student at a Masvingo College, stunned the gallery when he appeared before Masvingo regional magistrate, Esther Muremba  recently saying that the mother of his alleged victims  had offered him US$20 for sexual favours.

The teenager said the woman was stung by the refusal and whipped up a fictitious and malicious story as a way of getting back at him. However, it is the state’s case that sometime in June last year the teenager lured one of his victims, a nine-year-old who was his neighbour into his bedroom and sodomised him.

He was allegedly caught red-handed by a friend.

Again in July of the same year, the youth then sodomised the young brother of his first victim, a five-year-old.
