It will be a litmus test for Macheso who is in the studio working on his latest album after Kwatakabva Mitunhu flopped.

Jah Prayzah, who is the musician of the moment, is expected to unveil his Tsviriyo video on that same day.

Songs from his latest album are expected to send music lovers into delirium as they are gaining popularity each day.

The gig will be a uniting factor for the two musicians, Moyo and Chimbetu who have not shared the stage in a while.

The young Igwe, as Moyo is fondly known, is expected to deliver songs from his debut album Mushonga Mukuru.

Moyo will be performing a duet with Chimbetu titled Bhora Mberi from the latter’s album Compass.

Tryson made headlines last week after he was barred from performing at the Simon Chimbetu commemoration despite introducing himself in a big way when he appeared on stage briefly.

The Pahotera hit-maker said it would be a happy return to Chitungwiza.

“It has been long since we performed in Chitungwiza but we will be there and I am happy that we will be sharing the stage with my boss and mentor Macheso which is encouraging,” said Tryson.

Show organiser Chris Musabayana said they were looking forward to a good show.

“These artists are doing well with their recent albums and we are happy to bring them together in Chitungwiza,”said Musabayana.
