A win for Triangle would be a record-breaking feat for Kaindu and will seriously put at risk David Mandigora’s job as Dynamos coach.

Kaindu battled in vain to collect maximum points against Dynamos in the past three seasons while in charge of Highlanders.

In his previous attempts to beat Dynamos, Kaindu was facing Kalisto Pasuwa but he now meets David Mandigora who last week was abused by the club fans following a 0-0 draw with Tsholotsho.

In his six league meetings against Dynamos, Kaindu has managed draws as the best result.

“This is totally another game and anything can happen. The best team of the day will win and I hope it is us who will win. I know past results against Dynamos have not been positive, but chances are there for us to collect maximum points. This is Triangle which is very much different from Highlanders,” said Kaindu.

Triangle have started the season on a high, presenting themselves as serious title contenders.

But Kaindu has dismissed their run, saying he is not eyeing the league title.

“I think it is a bit early to start talking about the league title. We have not even reached the hallway stage of the season. We are just concentrating on picking up as many points as possible so that we stay safe. We do not want to think much about other things but just to take each game as it comes,” he said.

But Triangle arrive in Harare on the backdrop of defeats in their last two games and their last visit to the capital city ended in a 1-0 loss to Flame Lily.

With the attacking duo of Lameck Nhamo and Felix Kuswatuka available, Kaindu has enough firepower upfront.

But he will miss winger Malvin Gaki who is with the national Under-23 team.

Dynamos also have goalkeeper Tatenda Mukuruva and defender Blessing Moyo with the Young Warriors.

Qadr Amini and Obey Mwarahari are injured but Mandigora is not worried by their absence.

Following the Tsholotsho draw, Mandigora’s job is no longer safe despite his side still being within touching distance of leaders Chicken Inn.

“I am confident we will get a good result,” said Mandigora.

“Every game we play is hard and that can be witnessed by how we struggled against Tsholotsho. But we prepare for every game to win and that is what we are looking for. This is a new game altogether and I foresee a tough game. But we can turn it into a good contest by scoring goals.”

Simba Nhivi is still out injured, leaving Mandigora with Dominic Chungwa, Farai Mupasiri and Kelvin Bulaji to choose from. “I am worried by the strikers because we are not scoring as much as we should. That is an area I have been working hard on,” said Mandigora.
