Sweswe’s side has shown everyone that they have the spine to challenge any team in the league after holding CAPS United to a one-all draw in a midweek fixture in Harare.

According to Sweswe, his aim is to collect at least four points in two matches for the team to be in a position to survive the chop.

However, the team only managed a single point from a possible six, hence the turning of tables has to start this afternoon, or else Tsholotsho can forget about playing in the topflight league next year.

This is not the first time that the two teams have met. Iziqholo ZeZhwane held DeMbare to a goalless draw in May in their first meeting in the league, but Sweswe believes they have to move a gear up and turn that draw into a win.

Sweswe says Dynamos are now gunning for the championship as his team aims to survive relegation. “They are in good form and they have won two consecutive games and with Dynamos you can tell at this stage that they are fighting for the championship. They want the championship and we are fighting relegation, it is not going to be easy,” Sweswe said.

Since taking over from David “Yogi” Mandigora, new Dynamos coach Tonderai Ndiraya has so far guided the Glamour Boys to two league wins after beating his former nboss, ZPC Kariba coach Sunday “Mhofu” Chidzambwa 2-1 and went on to beat stubborn Triangle 2-0 at Gibbo.

Returning striker Roderick Mutuma has been on song, aiding in Ndiraya’s cause and grabbing a brace in the 2-1 win over ZPC Kariba on Sunday and getting another goal at Gibbo where former Triangle striker Richard Kawondera doubled Dynamos’ advantage in the 2-0 midweek victory against Triangle.

Could the fifth straight championship be beckoning for the Glamour Boys, sitting on position three, but with similar number of points with Kelvin Kaindu’s Triangle and five points away from log leaders Chicken Inn?

The Bulawayo fans will be in for a football fiesta as action will begin with a lunchtime clash between How Mine and Triangle.

Highlanders will be on the road to face WhaWha in Gweru. In Harare CAPS United willface Dongo Sawmill at the National Sports Stadium while at Mandava, Chidzambwa is hoping to get his first league win as ZPC Kariba coach against FC Platinum after failing to do so in five attempts.

Action continues on Monday with Harare City hosting Buffaloes in the capital
