Mi Casa, who had their debut Zimbabwe performance at the Harare International Festival of the Arts (Hifa) in 2013, joins the growing list of South African artistes who have fallen in love with Zimbabwe.

Recently, South African diva Zahara launched her new album Country Girl in Zimbabwe when she performed at the Star FM People’s Choice Awards, before on-fire South African outfit, Mafikizolo gave a vintage act at the Harare Lockdown gig on Friday.

Zimbabwe has proved to be a favourable hunting ground for artistes from south of the Limpopo and the Mi Casa trio of J-Something, Dr Duda and Mo-T are no exception.

Fresh from a global tour that saw them perform in Europe and North American, Mi Casa seems to have captured the hearts of many in Africa, Zimbabweans included.

“I am yet to confirm the exact dates, but Mi Casa is coming early next year,” said one of organisers of the show. “We are still working on the logistics and the group is coming to promote their latest album Home Sweet Home,” said one of the organisers of the show.

Home Sweet Home is a double CD album packed with 25 hit tracks and features talented stars like Cassper Nyovest, Big Nuz, DJ Tira, Lady Smith Black Mambazo, Euphonik and Kenyan super group, Sauti Sol.

Now operating under a new record label, 34 Music, Mi Casa entered the music arena following their debut album titled Micasa Music in 2011, which contained the hit single These Streets.

It was followed by other hits such as Heavenly Sent and La Vida.
