The album, to be released this month, carries 10 songs that are centred on social issues.
Mwanyali, who sings with The Oasis Crew and calls his music Oasis, is widely viewed as a Zhakata copycat in music circles.
In a recent interview with The Standard Style, Mwanyali said: “The album will have 10 songs and they will be centred on social issues that include failed marriages and their aftermaths.”
“In the album, I will also express my worries on some people who are now taking God for granted and may not be reading the Bible on the same lines the word of God was written.”
On his partnership with Zhakata, Mwanyali said: “I have done all the ground work and I have sent a request to him to feature on the album.”

He described Zhakata as a talented musician and brother.
Only recently, music pirates hit hard on Mwanyali, selling CDs with his songs plucked from his previous three albums purporting them to be Zhakata’s new release.
The pirated album is titled Ndopange Zano and has Zhakata’s picture on the cover.
The six songs are Hakuchina Mhandara, Usarivare, Dovo, Zano, Matters of the Heart and Ndopange Zano.
The songs were plucked from Mwanyali’s albums Ndopange Zano (2003), Super Weekend (2005) and Dovo (2007).
A bitter Mwanyali described the act as daylight robbery. He said: “It is so sad that people still find it worthwhile to continue piracy and at this moment I’m sad some individuals decided to pirate my music purporting it is Leonard Zhakata’s new offering.”
He called for strong measures to be put in place to fight piracy.
