On the singles — Ndine Mubvunzo and Gore Rapera — that comprises a blend of live and digital elements recorded at Maselo Studios — Lovezh featured fast-rising contemporary musician Andy Muridzo.

In an interview with The Standard Style, the Sulumani Chimbetu-inspired musician, who fronts The Brave Stars, said his love for music began at a tender age.

“It was a blessing that I worked with one of the top female musicians, Jean Masters and I am happy to have mastered the trends that have seen me recording my first project. The successful recording of these songs marks the beginning of my musical career,” Lovezh said.

“Away from the singles, the audiences can expect more of Lovezh music as I will be launching my seven-track album in March, showing how fully committed and focused I am to fight for a place in this competitive industry, though I am not there to compete with anyone.”

Lovezh said in the forthcoming album that is being recorded at KBN Studios by Oscar Chamba, he will feature Wanisai and his former paymaster Jean Masters.

The Kuwadzana-bred musician said his prowess on song compositions and arrangements gave him confidence to soldier on in the cut-throat industry.

“My music is all about social commentary. On the song Ndine Mubvunzo, I interrogate abortion and baby dumping, especially among the young girls, while Gore Rapera is a party song as we celebrate the festive season,” he said.
