The gold miners scored first on the stroke of half time through Timothy January who latched onto a cross by Milton Ncube from the right to blast the ball past Chang.

How Mine shot-stopper Donovan Bernard then made a poor delivery in the second half, giving the ball to a Tsholotsho midfielder, who was intercepted on attack by centre-back Makundika Sakala for a corner-kick.

Xolani Ndlovu then sent in the corner-kick which was met with a first-time volley by an unmarked Trust Nyabinde in the 71st minute for Tsholotsho to get the equaliser which put them on two points in two matches after they played a goalless draw against Hwange last week.

How Mine coach Kelvin Kaindu admitted after the game that Chang had frustrated his strikers and gave him the man-of-the-match tag.

“We dropped two points. Our opponents only got one shot at goal and they got a goal. But if you have strikers who can create so many chances, I am happy. We are on the right track, but my biggest worry is the way we are defending. Their goalkeeper was just too good and probably the man-of-the-match. Our strikers did their best,” Kaindu said.

Chang made another spectacular save in the 61st minute, shutting out Toto Banda from close range in a build-up that involved Ncube and January.

Four minutes before the final whistle, he punched away for a corner a well-taken shot by Marvelous Mukumba.

Tsholotsho coach Farai Tawachera said he was happy to come out of the tough encounter with a point.

“It was a difficult game. They [How Mine] were a bit superior to us. We need to work on our final third because the movement is okay. I am happy with a point,” Tawachera said.
