Born Anthony Moses Davis, Beenie Man, who is making a return to the country after seven years will perform at the inaugural Spring Festival set for Alex Sports Club on Saturday.

In an interview with The Standard Style, 2 Kings Entertainment spokesperson DJ Dee Nosh said all was in place for the show and tickets were selling quickly.

“As part of his Unstoppable Tour in Africa, Beenie Man will perform in Zimbabwe on August 26 and everything is going according to plan as we speak,” said Dee Nosh.

Beenie, who will perform with his full band, will share the stage with Winky D, Jah Prayzah, Soul Jah Love, Queen V, Cindy, Raydizz, Selecta and Judgement Yard, among others. Having hosted several Jamaican artists, the award-winning promoters have promised yet another memorable show free of glitches.

“As 2 Kings Entertainment, we do not have any bad records and I can boldly say that this is another show and we are not going to disappoint,” said Dee Nosh, adding that they were happy to celebrate Beenie Man’s birthday at a local night club when he lands a day before the show.

“It is going to be a triple celebration as we celebrate his birthday at One Plus One night club on Friday in addition to 25 years as the King of Dancehall and 33 years in the industry.”

2 Kings Entertainment are also partnering South African promoters in facilitating two shows for Beenie Man in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
