NETONE acting CEO Brian Mutandiro on Friday scooped the 2017 Marketing Oriented Chief Executive Officer of the Year award at the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ) ninth annual marketers convention held at a colourful ceremony in Victoria Falls. BY STAFF REPORTER
The awards recognise organisations and individuals who manage to push their brands success through the effective running of their marketing plans. NetOne has been on an aggressive rebranding and marketing campaign as the new management seeks to rescue the company from successive years of underperformance.
Mutandiro said everyone at NetOne contributed immensely to the recognition.
“It is indeed recognition of the hard work the team has been putting. Everyone in the organisation has taken a customer-centric approach and this is what is shaping our products and company thrust,” he said.
