The Kadoma-based man of God is a multi-talented minister of the Word of God. He said he had been preaching for a couple of years and decided to make use of his voice to spread the good news across the country.

Speaking to The Standard Style last week, Mugandani said; “As a minister of the Word, l believe this is more than an album but a message of hope and faith to this generation and these songs are Spirit-filled and I believe it’s a push from the Holy Spirit who wants his people to be delivered, elevated.”

In one of the songs on the 10-track album, Mugandani collaborated with gospel diva Agatha Murudzwa, who has been in the music industry for a long time.

Mugandani said he started ministering through singing and preaching from the time he was a child, but with time he became more focused on evangelising than the musical part.

“It all started in Masvingo when I was in Form 3. I would go around in the evening preaching and singing in houses and from there, I would sing in choirs until I went to Bible school. But this year l was pushed into music and it resulted in my first album release,” he said.

Mugandani said he is inspired by gospel artists like Pastor Carol Mujokoro and the late South African gospel artist Vuyo Makoena. And he is promising more worship sounds filled with inspiration.

“I will be releasing more songs as the Holy Spirit leads. l don’t really have a professional singing background, but God gave me a voice to preach the Word through music,” he said.
