Female Zimdancehall chanter Ratidzo Chikiyi has released a single urging people to desist from engaging in casual unprotected sex, a phenomenon which has become rampant, especially among youths.

The single, titled Lets Condomise, is part of Chikiyi’s, better known as Miss Endowed among her followers, campaign to encourage partners not to compromise until medically proven safe as it could lead them into contracting sexually transmitted illnesses. “I saw it essential to educate the youth about awareness and to try and break the stigma and that is generally the message. l am trying to get to everyone out there seeing how the reckless behaviour is slowly getting out of hand,” she told The Standard Style.
Having worked with known local producers in the genre, including Oskid and JMP, as well as some foreign ones, Miss Endowed said her mission was to continue touching on such educational topics that promote social morality and constructive development, especially among the youth.
“My wish is to produce music which has a tangible message that can leave positive footprints so that the new generation will follow suit,”she said.
“I would also want to make a discography that is an investment that will not only be of benefit to me but my family and country.”
But, her journey will not be smooth given the struggles other females face in the industry, especially regarding transactional sex for favours.
“I know most women in the industry face sexual abuse as they are taken advantage of by men who want us to pay in kind for them to help push our careers, but only my talent and my passion keeps me going regardless of such circumstances,” she said.
