Radio and television personality Tinopona “Tin Tin” Katsande is back on the airwaves after landing a new slot at ZiFm Stereo following her dismissal in 2013.

Tin Tin was sent packing after her sextape with an ex-lover leaked exposing her to immense criticism on different social platforms.
“I was devastated to lose my job mainly because I knew I had let down so many people in my family and public sphere and I detest letting people who I hold dear to me down,” she recalled this week.
“For a while I lost confidence in myself but I was surrounded by ‘heaven sents’ who aptly reminded me to hurry up, overcome my challenges and get back on the horse.”
At the time, the famed actress had established a reputable brand as one of the top female radio hosts in the country before her world crashed.
“It took a while for me to get back on the social scene as I needed to come to terms and accept my reality but once I grasped taking accountability of my actions and the consequences, I was able to move forward,” she said.
During the same period she spearheaded a lot of movements to influence gender equity as well although she went through an agonising marriage at the hands of an abusive partner.

But like a princess she is, the daughter of Mutoko Chief Nyamkoho is back and ready to continue where she left off doing “what I do best”.
“I’ve always been an ardent believer of second chances and the queen of comebacks both in my public and private life. I’m ecstatic to be back on track,” she said, celebrating a delayed victory of #bringbacktintin movement.
On what the future holds, the mother of one, who has is also back on the silver screen acting in a local soap, promised her fans the usual bubbly persona she is known for.
“I will continue to give them all the best of me as we continue in our life’s journey to motivate, inspire and educate each other to become better people within our own spaces.”
