Recently-crowned Miss Masvingo Tourism second princess Faith Dube is considering signing up with top modelling agencies, including Bulawayo-based Fingers Modelling Agency and Zim Top Models in Harare.

Fingers Modelling Agency and Zim Top Models are some of the top agencies in the country renowned for grooming and nurturing models.

“I have been making inquiries with different modelling agencies,” Dube told The Standard Style last week.

“I am strongly considering signing up with Fingers in Bulawayo or Zim Top Models in Harare and this depends with where I would spend my vacation.

“In the meantime, I am trying to teach myself by watching modelling shows on television and social media platforms like YouTube.”

Dube is so passionate about Masvingo and she said if given the opportunity, she would like to make the world know much of the ancient city.

“Given the opportunity, I would like people to know the kind of beauty Masvingo holds, from the monuments to the lake,” she said.

“Masvingo is an amazing place, so I would like to educate people on the history of the province for them to see its priceless beauty.”

She said she wants to be an inspiration to other models out there so that they can look up to her as their role model.

“I want to be an inspiration to young girls who dream to be models. I want them to know that it is possible and it is only a matter of dreaming big,” she said.

The 20-year-old model says she truly appreciates the recognition and the beginning of greater heights.

“Taking part in Miss Tourism Masvingo gave me confidence and I feel it is possible to believe in myself. It is exciting and I am hoping I will gain exposure through the pageant as I am about to realise my dream of becoming a fashion model,” she said.

The young model said she chose modelling because she was in love with fashion.

“Part of me was auditioned with a mentality that through the Miss Tourism Masvingo, I would gain exposure as I wanted to be a fashion model,” she said.

Dube is studying for a degree in Psychology at Great Zimbabwe University. She describes herself as a happy soul, warm-hearted, very loud and bubbly.
