The three-day exhibition will see 23 year-old Ndemera, who is studying towards a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Creative Art and Design at CUT, showcasing her ceramic drawings, paintings, photography, fashion designs, graphic design and 3D artefacts, among others.

the exhibition will be held over three days from November 5 to 7 at Joina City Mall in the capital and is open to the public, while entry is free.

“It’s going to be a three-day exhibition from November 5 to 7 at Joina City Mall second floor, room 218, starting from 8am to 5pm, but the official opening is on November 6 starting from 10am to 11am,” Ndemera said.

“During the official opening ceremony, we will have our guest of honour and other invited guests from Alpha Media Holdings [AMH], as well as interested members of the public.” The budding creative artist, who did her internship at AMH, said the exhibition would take the audience through her journey as a creative art and design student.

“The exhibition will cover everything that I learnt during my time at Chinhoyi University of Technology, from my first to my final year focusing on photography, three-dimensional design, graphic design, advertising, and fashion, just to mention a few,” she said.

According to Ndemera, the theme of the exhibition, Art-imagination, seeks to share the aesthetics found in very simple objects which “we happen to see every day”.

“I encourage all art enthusiasts and those who appreciate art to come and support me as a student and help me become the artist that I’m thriving to be,” she said.
