King, who formed his King’s Places International Church a few years ago disbanded the church to join Kingdom Embassy Church, headed by prominent Prophet Passion Java.

In a recent interview with The Standard Style, King said he decided to write religious books to reach out to millions of Christians across the world who “treasure reading” as a way of strengthening their religious beliefs.

“I have written three books, Secrets for Prosperity, Tongues from Above and Principle of Creation, which were published this month,” King said.

“In Secrets for Prosperity, I give highlights on steps a Christian should take to lead a prosperous life. In God’s Kingdom, there is no room for poverty and Christians should show through the way they live that heaven is endowed with richness.

“Many people have the wrong notion that if you live miserably and wallow in poverty, there is another place where you would lead a different life. The richness of the kingdom of God starts with your lifestyle.”

In the book, Tongues from Above, King said he brought to the fore an understanding on how speaking in tongues could be understood in the Christian world.

He said the book highlights the advantages of speaking in tongues during prayer and how tongues help in the functioning of the spirit and in dominating the physical realm as well as controlling what happens around people.

“The power of tongues has been a mystery for many years because little study has been done to understand this heavenly language,” he said.

“The problem emanates from trying to spiritualise things without asking for revelation from God.”

King said in Principle of Creation, he dissects the origin of humanity and the relationship between the Creator (God) and man and expectations from God and the purpose of that creation.

The man of the cloth, who was based in South Africa, drew multitudes of followers of different nationalities in that country through his worship services and crusades. He said Kingdom Embassy was this month going to open a branch in Gweru.
