The two DJs — whose online show Unsigned Hype is beginning to make waves — have so far interviewed South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest, Prince Kaybee and DJ Stavo, among others, on their Saturday morning slot.

In an interview with The Standard Style, Mic Sprinter described the opportunity as an amazing shot to widen their rapidly growing influence in hip hop circles where they have plans to go global.

“It’s an amazing feeling, we could not even believe that we are now being chosen to be the face of Zim hip hop,” he said, attributing part of their growth, in a relatively short time, to programme executive producer Ian P Universal.

“God has been great to us and already not mentioning a lot of deals underway, we are going to represent Zimbabwe globally.”

The Unsigned Hype team, who work not only as radio personalities, but TV presenters and male models, is also set to host South Africa’s Da Les and Zambia’s Roberto among other established and fledgling artistes.

“All I can say is that God has greater things for us as the Heart & Soul team, but our vision is global and we have more in store for our listeners and those who follow our work,” he added Usigned Hype, a two-hour platform which airs every Saturday between 8am and 10am, is a space to expose talent to their audience.
