GOSPEL musician Tafadzwa Mukaro has presented her fans with an early Christmas present. Mukaro has released a new single, Makata, as she continues to exhibit her composing prowess in the competitive gospel industry.

Her compositions are mainly founded on biblical scriptures with a simplicity that appeals to listeners of all ages.
In an interview with Standard Style, Mukaro said the song preaches messages of hope with emphasis on prayer being the necessary weapon when one is going through trials and tribulations.
“The track Makata is a song about the challenges of life and how one has to often go uphill. The song calls on people to be strong and to keep on going with perseverance and prayer. Christ strengthens us until we get to the top,” she said.
“When facing difficult times, there is always need to pray for strength from God as He is the one who sustains us amidst those challenges. The Almighty always makes a way to get to the top.”
Although Mukaro started music at a tender age, it was in 2014 that she became a professional artiste after releasing her debut six-track album Mwari Anesu.
“It has been a great journey of self-discovery and growth, of which I am thankful to God. I continue to strive to grow in music and also spiritually as a Christian. I have big dreams and I thank the Almighty, as he keeps revitalising my energy towards my calling to minister the word of God through music,” she said.
