Gospel musician Trymore Bande has promised his fans a lot of pleasant surprises this year and also heaped praises on God the Almighty, who has blessed him with his manager Munei Nyoni.

Bande attributes the rich vein of success he is experiencing in the music industry epitomised by his latest album Mhinduro Inyasha released last year to Nyoni’s managerial competencies.

He added that it was God’s will that he was now a pastor and it came as no surprise to him as many people were already calling him by that title because his music was based on the word of God that in the Bible.

Pastors Leonard Zhakata and Charles Charamba inspire him and he has learned a lot from them.

However, when it comes to Nyoni he is short of words on how to thank his manager.

“He has done great things for me that never happened before he took over the management side although I was already popular. Were it not for him, I might not be driving this car I now have,” Bande said.

He said Nyoni had stood by him in every aspect of the music industry and was organising great shows for him.

Bande also told Standard Style that he was working on the production of a DVD for the album and that a big surprise from him awaited his fans.

“2019 is another year and a lot of surprises. Our DVD is now ready to be released on the market and we are working on a new album again,” he said.

“As long as God gives me revelations and more songs, I will continue to release more albums. I can’t say much about the new album, but I assure my fans that the best in me is coming.

“For the DVD which is around the corner, I am going to be doing something that I have never done before in my music career since I started recording.

“So, get ready for that big surprise.”

He urged his fans to keep on supporting him and not to hesitate to give feedback, be it negative, as this would enable them to identify their weaknesses, which would help them to improve their productions.

Bande could not hide his joy on the success of Mhinduro Inyasha.

“The grace of God was at work in my life. I would like to thank God the Almighty for such a successful album. I truly see the grace of God at work in that album,” he said.

He cited the two songs on the album, Ndoda Mwari and Mai Tino, as the best performers as they were both in the Coca-Cola Top 20 gospel charts on radio.

On how he was coping with his new role as a pastor for his church, Bande said nothing much had changed because he was already ministering the Word of God through music.

“My music is gospel, so for me to be a pastor it’s another experience. I always say this: I do not only seek to entertain people through gospel music, but my main goal is for such music to bless those who listen to it,” he said.

“I thank God that a lot of my fans are coming to me testifying that they are being blessed.”
