Kayse Connect, organisers of the Patoranking gig scheduled for the Harare International Conference Centre on Friday, have promised revellers real value for money on the much-anticipated night.

Whenever Nigerian stars headline concerts in the city, the aftermath has been complaints from fans about either an unsatisfactory short time on stage or lukewarm stage sets.

However, according to Kayse Connect’s Nyasha Muswaka, the Suh Different singer set to share the stage with some of the country’s big names, including Winky D and Jah Prayzah, is geared to stage a showdown of it’s own kind.

“Patoranking is a high-energy artiste and is geared up for Harare. He has shown interest in giving his audience value for their money because we have discussed with him and his team and they have agreed to make sure that he leaves the audience satisfied,” Muswaka told Standard Style.

Tickets for the gig have been on sale for weeks now, but, according to Muswaka, they are not keeping close tabs on ticket sales as their major concern is to deliver a memorable show.

“Preparations are going well and pretty much advanced and all is almost set and ready for the concert to take place,” he said.

“We haven’t really followed up on the sales as we are for now more inclined to creating a memorable event for however many people who will attend the event, we can promise that this will be an event to remember.”

Meanwhile, Kayse Connect has scheduled club appearances, radio and TV tours for the dancehall artiste, who is landing in the country for the first time.

“We also have a couple of surprises for the audience, so it’s going to be a great event and we would like to connect more with people before the concert and create good conversation between the Zimbabwean music community and Kayse Connect,” Muswaka said.
