MSU students to establish creative arts studio

Midlands State University (MSU) marketing management students have pooled resources to establish a creative arts studio to be used in producing advertisements and corporate videos, Standard Style has learnt.

Midlands State University (MSU) marketing management students have pooled resources to establish a creative arts studio to be used in producing advertisements and corporate videos, Standard Style has learnt.

According to MSU, marketing management students from both the Gweru and Harare campuses bought equipment worth about US$4 000 which will be used in the studio.

“Marketing management students from both the Harare and Gweru campuses have donated equipment worth US$4 000, which will be used to equip a creative arts studio,” MSU said.

“The studio will be set up under the marketing management department and become a platform for students to produce advertisements and corporate videos in line with industry demands.

“The equipment includes two desktop computers, one audio mixer, two colour printers, two DVD players, two monitors, 10 flash sticks, two sound monitors, three microphones and one digital camera.”

According to the institution, the marketing department has over the years been receiving donations from its students aimed at upgrading the standards of its facilities as well as creating excellent marketers.
