GWERU-based gospel musician Joseph Pride Muzokura, popularly known as Minister Joseph (pictured) in music circles, says his music is inspired by life experiences.

The gospel crooner in an interview with Standard Style referred to the Word of God as the only solution to people’s challenges. He said this had inspired the message in his latest single titled Amazing Grace.

“The message in Amazing Grace is all about praising God on all the good things He has done to us in our lives,” Minister Joseph said.

“I have been through a lot since l started my musical journey, but through His grace, have managed to sail through.”

The song also talks about someone who realised the presence of God advising others to also look to the Almighty and to seek His divine intervention when facing difficult moments in life.

“The song coincided with the success l have experienced in my music career, especially during this difficult period in our country where everyone is looking up for opportunities in order to survive the ever-increasing cost of living,” he said.

“I have been touring neighbouring South Africa performing shows and l have been invited to Durban for another show though the dates are yet to be finalised.”

The youthful musician ventured into music while at primary school where he was a member of the school and church choir.

Minister Joseph joined the mainstream music scene in 2017 when he made his first studio recording. He has one DVD album titled Emmanuel and several singles to his name.

Some of his tracks are now available on the Buddie Beats platform, among several online music stores.

“I would like to encourage fellow youths to continue working hard so as to achieve our goals and never to give up easily,” he said.
