Victoria Falls merrymakers will end the year in style with a mega party set to be thrown at Chinotimba Stadium on December 28 with top entertainers billed to perform.

Dubbed Fill Up Chinotimba Stadium, the show will see musicians Killer T, Suluman Chimbetu, Kinna, Hwindi President and many acts from the resort town, including Express Chimurenga Afro-fusion performing.

Organiser of the event Elder Shambare of Express Entertainment said the gig was meant to thank people in and around Victoria Falls who have been supporting them throughout the year.

“Victoria Falls has been very supportive to all our initiatives as Express Company. We are fortunate as a company that we have a department of entertainment. This show is one of our best in 2019,” Shambare said.

He is credited for bringing life to Matebeleland North promoting several arts groups like Express Chimurenga Afro-fusion band.

Apart from promoting other genres, Shambare has played a key role in the growth of dancehall in the country, particularly championing a dancehall riddim called Express.

“When you are into music promotion, you don’t look at the exepenses incurred, but you look at the potential these youngstars have,” he said.

“That explains why we have decided to have a number of local artistes on our line up. The show is going to be explosive.”

Killer T and Sulumani are set to promote their song Mukaranga at the show.

Sulumani’s manager Calton Muparutsa said they will be sampling some of the new songs they have at the show.

“We have some songs that are in the bag waiting for release. Some of them will be played at these festive season shows. It will be a jamboree,” he said.

On the other hand Killer T will be promoting his new singles collection titled Hope Dzeumambo.

“We are ready for the show and people should come in their numbers. I am happy that we have been working well with Express Entertainment. This is one of the biggest shows we are going to do this year,” said Killer T’s manager Kudzai Biston.
