FORMER Dynamos striker King Nasama has resurfaced at Premier Soccer League (PSL) new boys Whawha where he is expected to lead their forward line together with Lameck Nhamo Nhamo was loaned to the Gweru-based side by FC Platinum after failing to nail down a first-team place.

Nasama, though, is seeking a new birth in his career following below-par stints at Chicken Inn and ZPC Kariba.

The young forward showed glimpses of promise during his stay at Dynamos in 2017, under the tutelage of Llyod Mutasa before stints at Chicken Inn and ZPC Kariba.

“We have King Nasama in our team now. He is part of the few additions we made to our club and knowing his quality, we are targeting good results when the season starts,” said club secretary Innocent Makoni.

At Whawha, Nasama has an opportunity revive his fading career as he is set to be at the core of Luke Petros’ game plan following the departure of their reliable goal scorer Albert Matewu.

Petros himself has returned to Whawha, having initially dumped them for MSU, after being frustrated by the club’s incessant financial woes.

At that point, Whawha were on the verge of being expelled from the PSL for failure to pay the mandatory affiliation fees, only for them to be saved by a Harare-based businessman just before the final deadline.
