Despite the Covid-19 the gospel diva Pastor Olinda Marova has promised more music before the end of this year.

Speaking to Standard Style Marova said she was working on releasing videos for the songs from her latest album titled Yahweh and she also said that she will be releasing singles before the end of this year.

‘’I’m working on video shootings for songs on my latest album and I’m also working on some singles I will release before the year ends,” she said.

The musician also expressed gratitude to the people and some stakeholders, who are working so hard to bring new talented artistes in the industry.

‘’There are lot of uncelebrated voices and talents out there and I am glad there are people, who are work tirelessly for them to be heard and its something I have been pondering on that surely things have to change and that everyone is given a platform for them to be heard and exhibit their talents, ‘’ she said.

Marova said she faced many challenges in the industry but she remained strong.

‘’Personally, the challenges I faced in my journey were losing my loved ones in 2010 I lost my beloved mother, who was one of my biggest fans and she was so supportive attending my live shows. I loved everything about her and losing her was so devastating and it affected me so much,” she said.

“Later on I lost my husband Pastor Michael Ziwenga. It also affected me musically, but thank God for strength it enabled me to move on and continue with my journey regardless of all that happened to me.”

The gospel musician also encouraged other people, who want to join the gospel music industry to work hard.

‘’My advice is do not give up no matter what, patience, resilience and hard working really pay. You maybe disheartened today that you are not being recognised but only God is going to open doors for you and you will make it, have good network with the right people,” she said.
