Upcoming Zimhip-hop gospel musician Tanyaradzwa “Christian Tyga” Ndarukwa has promised more music to his fans before the end of the year Speaking to Standard Style, Ndarukwa also said he was also working on his debut album to be released next year ‘’I am working on the album for next year with 12 tracks, but at the same time I am working on singles which will be released before the album launch,” he said.

“I am working with big artistes on the album the likes of Ti-Gonzi and Ras Caleb.”

Ndarukwa started his music career in 2016 under the mentorship of award-winning artiste Ti-Gonzi who also inspired him.

“I am working under Ti-Gonzi’s label HHYG, representing Christian hip-hop. My mission as a gospel artiste is to spread the Word of God through music,” he said

In 2018 he released a single titled Kutenda Mwari featuring other artistes and it was frequently played on the Power FM Hip-Hop Basement Charts.

Just like any upcoming artiste, Christian Tyga has faced many challenges including lack of promoters and finances.

“Sometimes it’s hard to as an underground artiste to do songs with big artistes because they need to be paid for them to come for recording,” he said.

“We face a lot of challenges in music including piracy, which is making us known, but without any benefits.”

Christian Tyga said thanked his fans for their support.

“I would like to thank my fans for the support they have given me since day one till now. You are my everything, without you, I can’t be given the title Christian Tyga. You are my backbone and it means a lot to me and my music,” he said.
