What started as a small cosmetic shop at Long Chen Plaza in Harare has turned out to be one of the most popular health and beauty spas in the capital city and Ntuli boasts they “offer unique head-to-toe beauty services”.

Sta-Glow Beauty Bar, now located in Milton Park along Bishop Gaul Road, is what Ntuli describes as a “rendezvous for skin treatments, body and massage therapy, as well as beauty treatments”.

“I started off with a small cosmetic business before I expanded and incorporated other beauty packages like therapy and skin treatment,” said Ntuli, a skin aesthetician by profession.

“We are one of the five trending beauty spas in town and we have unique services such as full body polish where we scrub you in your ‘birthday suit’ and get you into the steamer. This is one of our exclusive services.

“We also do vajacial, which is a new kid on our services. This is where we do spa treatment around the female organ, taking care of ingrown hairs, removing dead skin cells, and working on bumps around the bikini line.

“Vajacial prevents acne and helps with hyperpigmentation with the aim of maintaining healthy and hydrated skin around the organs.”

A product of Mt Selinda Primary School and Chikore High School in Chipinge, Ntuli said she is passionate about skincare, something she prized from a tender age.

“I have always had a passion of beauty and skincare. It’s something inborn and a gift because whoever I help with a skin problem will definitely come back with amazing progress and results,” she said.

Star, as Ntuli is affectionately known, holds a Cosmetology Diploma, specialising in skincare.

A mother of three, Ntuli is grateful to her clients and said her spa’s door is also open for new clients.

“I would like to thank my clients who have supported Sta-Glow Beauty Bar from the early days because I would have never made it without them. For prospective clients, come and enjoy our range of beauty services. The door is open,” she said.

To cap what looks like a fine year for the budding entrepreneur, Ntuli has been short-listed for the Young Women in Business gong at the Sadc Success Awards 2020 scheduled for Bulawayo next month.
