The mirror does not reverse the order of letters but rather, light affects how we see the words. In fact, it’s not the mirror that makes a word appear as if it has been spelt or written backwards.  The apostle James compares the word of God to a mirror. If the word of God can be compared to a mirror, it means it carries the same properties as a mirror. So the mirror is perfect and reflects perfectly what’s presented before it.

God has put in his word our identity and purpose, but the devil can twist your perception of the word of God causing you to deviate from the fruitful life that you are predestined to live.

It’s your responsibility to guard against anything that tries to twist God’s predestined image for your life. You need to understand that you cannot manifest what you have not seen through God’s mirror.

The mirror, or word of God, is perfect as shown by James and any person who does what it says shall be fruitful in all matters of life. But at times when men stand before the mirror of God, they challenge what they see because it takes faith to become and put on the image you see in that mirror.

When you stand in front of the mirror with printed clothes on, you may assume it’s the mirror that is causing the words to appear backward and may not see all the things that are playing a role in twisting your perception.  When you stand before God’s word, he shows you the perfect life he has prepared for you, but in the same way light causes words to appear backward in a mirror, there are also things that affect how you perceive the life.

It matters what spirit you use when you stand before the mirror of God. If you stand before the mirror with light that comes from the devil he forces you to have a twisted perception about life and at times that negative interpretation causes you to fail. When you read the twisted words in the mirror before seeing the original words, you will believe the reversed words are true. Fear can be a twisting factor that the enemy uses and through fear you can deny the image you see in the mirror and refuse to walk by faith to see its manifestation. The Bible carries the story of Gideon who was hiding from the enemy and yet God saw him as a warrior. Some have believed negative reports from the devil because they never got time to discover who they are in God’s view.

What does the word of God say about you? As Christians, we are called to manifest God’s riches and glory but at times if you have not discovered it through personal revelation, you may not experience it. Gideon lived in fear when he had the potential to lead Israel into war. You can die poor when God called you to feed the poor because you never discovered God’s purpose for your life. James calls those that look into God’s word “doers of the Word”. It’s time to take up the responsibility and look into God’s Word to discover your true identity. God bless you.
