FASHION designer Saneliso Mpofu of Sanah Designs has spread wings into corporate wear to expand her line of business.

“I have met challenges and at the same time, it has brought opportunities. I had to rethink my process when creating my staff. I have also had to align myself with sustainable fashion that is masks, we needed a whole range of protective wear. I have started doing corporate wear,” Mpofu told NewsDay Life & Style.

“I grew up in a family that made us understand you can get by with the little that you have and with the coming of COVID-19, I had to walk with that kind of mindset. I had to keep creating and challenging myself and I had to maximise what I had, which was a necessity. I never stopped and I am still moving.”

Mpofu said she was turning challenges into positivity.

“Like everything else, it has its own challenges. However, we are doing well and we are making strides towards our vision of creating elegant minimalist and fashionable corporate wear fashion,” she said.

Mpofu said she was working on an international collaboration which will debut in Europe, though she was not at liberty to share more details of the deal.
