GWERU- BASED award winning gospel artiste, Moscow Pembere (34) is set to release a new song titled Telestial, which means, “it is finished” in Hebrew.

Pembere told Newsday Life & Style that the song has already been recorded and will be released before the end of this month once the video production of the track is done.

“The message from the song is that we might face all sorts of problems in life, but these challenges are solved by the mere fact that Jesus Christ died for us on the cross,” he said.

Pembere who launched his musical career four years ago has released two albums namely Mweya Mutsvene and Jesus Christ in 2018 and 2020 respectively.

He is inspired by veteran gospel singer Charles Charamba whom he described as his mentor.

Pembere has also worked with several other top singers among them Mathias Mhere, Olinda Marowa, Sebastian Magacha and Liberty Ticharwa.

His collaboration with Marowa dubbed Favour Seunorota was voted the Best Song of the Year at the Midlands Arts Awards in 2018 while his other track, Gorekona came second best in the Midlands top 100 gospel charts in 2019.

Two of his songs Punish the Devil Anokomborera and Ndinodavira off the album Jesus Christ did well last year as they attained third and ninth position respectively on the annual Coca-Cola Top 50 Radio Zimbabwe charts.

Pembere has paid tribute to members of Heavy-weights Fans group whom he said are instrumental in marketing his music both locally and abroad.

As a word of advice, he said upcoming artistes must take their time to be creative and always aim for perfection.
